Abandoned Simplicity
Tuesday, July 19th, 2005if it’s not to feed your family,
why work day and night, like there’s no time to breathe?
if it’s not to state an important value,
why talk big like you’re the creator of all human mind?
if it’s not to travel vast distance at the speed of
light,
why buy cars that do, like you own the world?
if it’s not to keep yourself warm,
why wear all those scarf, jacket and beanies?
Why eat when you’re not hungry?
Why drink when you’re not thirsty?
Why smoke when you’re not in pain?
Why abandon all the life’s greatest simplicity?
